The Milwaukee Bucks had no other choice but to win on Tuesday night. This was despite the fact that both Giannis Antetkounmpo and Damian Lillard were ruled out for their Game 5 showdown against the Indiana Pacers.
Down 3-1 in the series, the Bucks were in desperate need of a win, and so that’s exactly what they delivered in front of a capacity crowd at the Fiserv Forum.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Shouts Out Home Fans
Patrick Beverley did all he could to fill the void that Lillard left after the eight-time All-Star was ruled out due to an Achilles injury. Beverley stepped up in a major way, finishing with 13 points, four rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, and a block, as he helped lead the Bucks to a 115-92 blowout win against Indiana.
Shortly after the final buzzer, Pat Bev just had to send a special shoutout to the Bucks supporters:
“Nah, we couldn’t let the fans down. We got some of the best fans in the NBA, we can’t let them down,” Beverley said of the team’s mentality heading into a must-win Game 5 showdown.
"We couldn't let the fans down. We got some of the best fans in the NBA, we can't let them down."

There’s obviously a lot of bias from Beverley here given that he’s currently representing the city of Milwaukee. However, the fact that the NBA journeyman (he’s played for seven teams in 12 years) has this type of praise for the Bucks faithful has to count for something.
This series will now shift back to Indiana for Game 6 on Thursday, and you just know that the Bucks will be in this type of desperate mindset again as they fight to keep their season alive.
