Wisconsin's Season Ends

After scoring 41 points in the first half, Wisconsin’s season ends as they fell apart in the second half. They scored 13 points in the second half and went scoreless in the last 9:08 of the game. In the end, the Badgers fell to North Texas 56-54 in the semi-finals in the NIT. Wisconsin ends its roller-coaster season at 20-15. The NCAA Tournament is and should be the standard for Wisconsin Basketball. It’s a program that has tournament success and is one of the better programs in the country. It was not pretty. It was a battle from the opening tip. At the end of the day, Wisconsin prevailed despite shooting 33% for the game. For the first time since Dec. 30 and Jan. 3, the Wisconsin Badgers have won two straight games. After a 75-71 win over Liberty yesterday, the Badgers will travel to Eugene to take on the Oregon Ducks in an NIT Tournament quarterfinal.
