Spring practices have concluded for the Wisconsin Badgers. Including “The Launch” event, Wisconsin had 15 practices. Members of the media were able to attend them. We received great updates throughout and found out who stood out and what the team looked like as a whole. Based on the last month, here are three players that stood out on the offensive side of the ball. Tanner Mordecai Once Tanner Mordecai committed to Wisconsin, it became obvious the sixth year senior would be their starter. He had a great career at SMU, especially the last two seasons throwing for 72 touchdowns. There…

With spring practices ending for the Wisconsin Badgers, it’s summer break. Fall camp will begin early August in preparation for the season opener September 2 against Buffalo at Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers still have some work to do in the transfer portal, but it will remain quiet for the most part over the next few months. Before fall camp kicks off, I figured I would share three early season predictions for this team in 2023. Wisconsin Has Two Receivers Record 800 Yards It’s going to look a lot different this year compared to past years. The Badgers will feature…

It’s been an eventful few weeks for the Wisconsin Badgers. They added St John’s AJ Storr and lost Jordan Davis to the transfer portal. Davis recently announced he has committed to Illinois State. They also had Wyoming transfer Noah Reynolds. However, Reynolds de-committed and joined UW-Green Bay where his brother coaches. Ever since the college basketball season ended a few weeks ago, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has released a few bracketology updates. It doesn’t matter now since the season won’t start until November, but it’s interesting to see where teams currently stand before summer and fall. Where Does Wisconsin Stand? In…

Spring practices are now done for the Wisconsin Badgers. The next time we see this team put the pads on will be fall camp in preparation for the 2023 season. It won’t be too long before Wisconsin opens up the 2023 season against Buffalo on September 2. A ton of players stood out at times during the spring season as the Badgers began the Luke Fickell era. Here are my three takeaways from the spring practices. The Badgers Have A Clear Q1 And Q2 The quarterback room become loaded after Graham Mertz, the starter over the last three season, entered…

The 2023 NFL Draft is over and now begins off-season programs for all 32 teams. Green Bay made multiple trades on day two and ended the draft with 13 picks. Overall, I thought the Packers had a solid draft and addressed most of their needs. Now that we know who will be in the green and gold, here are my three overall takeaways from Green Bay’s draft. Picking Two Tight Ends Friday Was Really Smart It was obvious tight end was one of Green Bay’s biggest needs going into the draft. I kept thinking over the course of the last…

After selecting Lukas Van Ness 13th overall in the NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers only made one selection last night. Tonight, they will have three picks. They will have picks 42 and 45 in the second round and pick 78 in the third round. The rest of the NFC North was busy last night as the Lions and Bears moved around. Here is how the rest of the NFC North panned out last night. Chicago Bears After trading the number one pick to Carolina a few months ago, the Bears entered the NFL draft with the ninth pick. They…

Now that the Aaron Rodgers trade is done, the Packers got quite the haul from the New York Jets. Green Bay received picks 13, 42, 207, and a conditional second round pick in 2024 that turns into a first round pick if Rodgers plays 65% of the snaps. The Packer gave the Jets picks 15 and 170 in addition. With the NFL Draft beginning tomorrow night, the popular talk now is will Green Bay trade up again and or could they trade back? I think staying at pick 13 makes the most sense right now for the Green Bay Packers.…

I doubt few people had the Milwaukee Bucks down 3-1 to the Miami Heat in the playoffs. I personally thought the Bucks would win this series in six to begin. I thought Miami presented some issues. For a team with the best regular season record, the Bucks have had no answer for Jimmy Butler and the Miami offense in general. Last night was no easier as they fell 119-114 behind 56 points from Jimmy Butler. With the Bucks back against the wall, can they win three games in a row and advance in the playoffs? They Have No Answer For…

It’s draft week for football fans! Hundreds of players over the course of three days will be drafted or selected as un-drafted free agents. It’s a crazy time for players, families, organizations, and fans. Wisconsin should be represented well this weekend. There are three players that should hear their name called over the course of the draft. Keeanu Benton Keeanu Benton was one of the best nose tackles to come out of Wisconsin in a long time. He was a player opposing offenses had to prepare their game plan around. In four years at Wisconsin, Benton recorded nine sacks and…
