The Wisconsin football team has quietly continued to recruit some key players in the 2024 class, including four-star running back Darrion Dupree.
Dupree, a four-star recruit from Illinois, is one of the best running backs remaining in the 2024 recruiting class. The talented running back has been on the Badgers radar for quite some time. Dupree also received a crystal ball prediction for the Wisconsin Badgers months ago. The recruit holds 29 total offers, including Illinois, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Missouri.
Wisconsin Football Still Pushing Hard For Four-Star Running Back Darrion Dupree
The Wisconsin Badgers football team has continued to chip away at their 2024 recruiting class each week. As the class shapes up, the Badgers are still on the lookout for key commitments at specific positions. Among those positions for the Badgers is running back. For a school that carries plenty of passion and success at the position, the team has struggled to land a top-tier player at the position during this cycle.
Wisconsin native and fellow four-star recruit Corey Smith was a long time target for the Badgers until his recent Penn State commitment. Wisconsin has since shifted their focus towards a trio of talented individuals at the position. Darrion Dupree, Gideon Ituka, and Dilin Jones have been on the Badgers radar recently as each player made their official visit. Dupree and Ituka both have crystal ball predictions for the Wisconsin football team.
Dupree has continued to narrow down his list after only scheduling three official visits. Dupree spent time in Madison first before visiting Illinois. The final stop for the running back will come on June 23rd when he visits Missouri. Likely, Dupree will finish his visits before making his commitment due to how close of a race it has been.
However, with the success the Wisconsin football team has had with Dupree, his final visit may just be confirmation that Madison is his next home.

I don’t see a significant difference in recruiting from Chryst. I don’t like the trend of losing top Wisconsin talent to Penn State and Minnesota
