The Wisconsin Badgers football staff will play host to an intriguing 2024 four-star running back during their busiest recruiting weekend next month.
Dilin Jones, a 2024 four-star running back from Maryland, currently has 31 total offers. The exceptional running back is the fourth ranked player in the state and the 11th running back overall in the class. Jones has been tied to the likes of Florida State, Maryland, and Virginia Tech. The Badgers are reportedly high on the board for Jones, who will likely commit to a school following his official visits.

One of the most talented running backs in the 2024 recruiting class is the entertaining Dilin Jones. Jones can do everything as a running back and provides amazing versatility for his team. The running back is a physical runner who is not afraid to shed tacklers off himself. Coming in at 5-foot-11-inches, 185-pounds, Jones has a great boost of speed that combines with his size excellently.
Jones is not just a speed or truck threat, but rather an all-around running back. Jones makes one cut and then hits the hole with ease. He can also make incredible plays in the open field, slipping tacklers left and right to score effortless touchdowns. Jones, however, did not have much of a presence as a receiving back last year. With another year left to develop before collegiate football, Jones will likely continue to develop himself as a receiving back.
Between slipping past defenders in the backfield and trucking through linebackers to score touchdowns, Jones fills the highlight tape. The talented recruit is one of the most capable running backs in the 2024 recruiting class. Now, Jones just might become a Badger following his official visit in June.

The Wisconsin Badgers have gone through this recruiting cycle by making big offers for big recruits. Notably, CJ Jimcoily, another top four-star recruit, also recently received an offer from the Badgers. Thus far in the recruitment of Jones, Wisconsin has been battling against Florida State primarily to land the recruit. The Seminoles also have scheduled an official visit with Jones, however it is the week after the recruit will visit Madison.
When Jones arrives in Madison for his visit, it will be a big moment for the Badgers. As a school that prides themselves on being “Running Back University”, landing talented running backs must be a primary concern. Wisconsin will receive the first chance to entertain the running back before he travels down to Florida for his next visit. Jones is currently the highest ranked running back left on the Badgers radar, following in-state Corey Smith committing to the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Jones is an extremely talented running back that would be able to pick up the Wisconsin offense in no time. If the Badgers land Dilin Jones, it would be a massive commitment for the 2024 class.
