The Wisconsin Badgers, under head coach Luke Fickell, have been nothing short of exciting. The commitments they have landed in the last five or so months have created an excitement in Madison that hasn’t been felt for quite some time. That continued today when the Badgers landed yet another exciting commitment. This time it came in the form of a dynamic 2024 wide receiver.

Off to a great start on the recruiting trail this spring, the Wisconsin Badgers have picked up their third commitment in eight days. This time they added Bolingbrook (Ill.) wide receiver Kyan Berry-Johnson to the 2024 recruiting class on Monday. With the Badgers likely to take just one wide receiver in the class of 2024, Berry-Johnson wasn’t going to miss his chance.
“I just think I’ll be able to fit into the offense,” Berry-Johnson told Badger247. “I love all the coaches and our relationship.
The Wisconsin Badgers secured the three-star wide receiver, marking their first wideout land of the upcoming cycle. Berry-Johnson has been projected to the Badgers by recruiting sites 247 and Rivals for a while, and finally made it official on Wednesday.
Berry-Johnson initially earned a scholarship from the Badgers on January 28th, which was his fifth D-1 offer, and recently scheduled an official visit for June 6th. He recently had another unofficial visit to Wisconsin on March 28th, where he saw one of the Badgers’ spring practices. As a junior, Berry-Johnson caught 23 passes for 439 yards and six touchdowns. He is the seventh verbal commitment for Fickell in the class of 2024 and first wide receiver.
