Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo had another dominating night against the Washington Wizards. The unfortunate thing is that the Bucks lost to the Wizards on the road by a final score of 117-113.
With the loss, the Bucks fall to 47-28 on the year and the Wizards improve to 15-61 on the year. Milwaukee is only 1.5 games ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the two seed in the Eastern Conference. Washington is one of the worst teams in the NBA and they are in contention for the number one overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
With this loss, the Milwaukee Bucks wasted a total gem from Giannis Antetokounmpo. He recorded another triple-double and he scored 35 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and recorded 10 assists. Antetokounmpo continues to get his big-time numbers for them this season. He has not been one of the reasons why the Bucks lose basketball games.

Antetokounmpo on the year is averaging 30.8 PPG, 11.6 RPG, and 6.5 APG. His points per game are ranked second in the NBA this season, his rebounds per game are ranked sixth in the NBA this season, and his assists per game are ranked 14th in the NBA this season.

What was hurting the Bucks on Tuesday night is that Damian Lillard was out due to an injury and Patrick Beverley also left the game with an injury in the third quarter and he did not return. The lack of urgency on the road in this basketball game from Milwaukee is also a concern for them moving forward.
What Is Good For the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo Is That Khris Middleton Has Also Found His Game

Heading into the NBA playoffs, the Bucks are going to need more than just Antetokounmpo and Lillard. Khris Middleton had another solid performance for Milwaukee on Tuesday night as the second scoring option without Damian Lillard.
Middleton scored 24 points, grabbed nine rebounds, recorded six assists, and recorded two steals. He has been a different player since he returned from the ankle injury that caused him to miss some time. This is good for head coach Doc Rivers to see as the big three of Lillard, Antetokounmpo, and Middleton are going to be needed down the stretch and into the NBA Playoffs. Bobby Portis Jr. has been there best scorer off the bench this season.
They will have to be the top three scoring options moving forward for the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks can not afford to waste games when Giannis Antetokounmpo is dominating on a night-to-night basis.
