Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has one-year remaining on his contract. He wants a new contract and is holding out until something is done.
Josh Jacobs could sit out until it’s resolved. But, why would he want to play for the Raiders in the first place, as they could potentially be one of the worst teams in the NFL this season? Las Vegas is not ready to be a playoff team anytime soon after moving off of quarterback Derek Carr for injury-prone quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason.

What NFL Teams Should Pursue Josh Jacobs via Trade?
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills still need a solid running back. They don’t have any running backs that will light it up unless they are relying on a James Cook breakout. Josh Jacobs is already a proven running back. A season ago, he rushed for 1,653 yards on 340 carries and 12 touchdowns. He averaged 4.9 yards per carry. Jacobs also caught 53 passes for 400 receiving yards. He averaged 7.5 yards per reception.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams could go for one more Super Bowl run with the core of quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and defensive tackle Aaron Donald. Stafford hasn’t had much of a running game, and Josh Jacobs would be able to stay on the West Coast in Los Angeles. That offense would look a lot different if they added this component. He would be a massive upgrade to the running back room. It was musical chairs in that department a season ago
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have Tony Pollard as the top running back in the room at the moment, but head coach Mike McCarthy could utilize Josh Jacobs too. It would give Dallas’s offense another element to the running game. They want to be a run-first offense instead of a pass-first offense with quarterback Dak Prescott. The Cowboys are in win-now mode, and Josh Jacobs could be a part of a Super Bowl contender.
