There’s no denying that former Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers played a key role in Pat McAfee’s rise to fame as a sports broadcaster. While the ex-Indianapolis Colts All-Pro punter might have enjoyed a successful career in the NFL, the fact of the matter is that he’s earned a whole lot more during his stint in sports media.
Pat McAfee Pays Aaron Rodgers Millions

In a recent interview with Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, McAfee spilled the beans on his professional relationship with Rodgers. These two have formed quite a bond off the field, but when it comes to business, A-Rod isn’t cutting his buddy any discounts.
According to McAfee himself, he’s now paid Rodgers more than a million dollars for his weekly appearances on The Pat McAfee Show:
“Aaron has made over $1,000,000 with us, for sure,” McAfee told The Post over direct message.
To be fair, Rodgers had made sure that he’s well worth his weight in gold. Not only is he one of the biggest players in the game today, but the New York Jets quarterback also drops a couple of clout-worthy nuggets every single week.
In his latest appearance, Rodgers called out Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce over their ongoing vaccine spat. According to Rodgers, he wants to debate Kelce about the vaccine.
Pat McAfee Defends Aaron Rodgers Payments

It’s not as if Rodgers is committing highway robbery here, though. McAfee himself stated that he firmly believes that he’s actually the one who’s getting a bargain out of all this:
“My company went from a valuation of [$2 million to $5 million] to a company valued over $500 million in just a few years,” McAfee said. “Everybody who helped us get to this point has reaped the benefits of it, that’s how business is supposed to work. To be transparent, Aaron deserves much more than what he’s gotten for the time and effort he has put into ‘Aaron Rodgers’ Tuesdays.’”
It’s hard to argue against that, especially since this is coming from the same man who pretty much built a media empire from the ground up.
