The Green Bay Packers will trot out Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback when they take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday. For a day or two, Rodgers’ availability was in question due to a rib injury that he sustained against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, Rodgers told The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, and Matt LaFleur confirmed on Wednesday, that he will play on Sunday.
Allen Lazard Has Hilarious Comment about Aaron Rodgers Playing
On Wednesday, Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard was asked about Aaron Rodgers playing on Sunday. His response was quite funny:
Allen Lazard on Aaron Rodgers planning to play through injury in Chicago:
"I think he's still gotta renew his ownership … you gotta do that twice a year."

Of course, this answer harkens back to the 2021 season when Rodgers screamed “I still own you!” to Bears fans after he scored a touchdown at Soldier Field.
