A Detroit Lions first-round pick is making some interesting NFL news Monday after a viral video surfaced showing him engaging in a risky activity a month before training camp. The Green Bay Packers rival is on their break between OTAs and training camp starting in late July.
This is always a scary month for NFL front offices, as several players each summer find ways to jeopardize their participation in the regular season. We’ve already seen a couple of players become involved in legal matters already. The number 18 overall pick in the 2023 draft was seen trying to have fun, but a video released by Detroit Sports Podcast will have the hearts of the Lions coaching staff and front office skipping a beat.
NFL News: Jack Campbell surfs…dangerously
Jack Campbell is seen surfing behind a boat. Campbell flexes as he gets closer to his fiance on the boat. His fiance then jumps on Campbell, talking him, and teh video shows Campbell falling underneath the waves.

Campbell didn’t appear to be injured after the incident. The rookie and his fiance were having normal fun in the summer, but that could have easily had another ending to the story. While players have every right to have fun on their summer break, his coaches might be a little nervous about this hobby.
