NFL news: There were more than a few noteworthy moments from the Green Bay Packers’ shareholders meeting on Monday. One in particular that stood out, however, was when Packers president Mark Murphy provided a definitive update on Aaron Rodgers’ jersey retirement.

Murphy’s announcement was met with a rousing round of applause from the shareholders in attendance. Clearly, the Packers faithful still have a lot of love for No. 12. While there has been no official date set for Rodgers’ number retirement, you can be sure that that will be a momentous occasion for not only the entire fanbase but for Aaron Rodgers as well.
NFL News: Aaron Rodgers is Far From Done

As of right now, though, Rodgers isn’t focused on retirement just yet. His current objective is to make as much of an impact as he can with his new team. Well, based on his recent antics in the Jets’ OTAs, it does seem like New York will get a taste of some vintage Aaron Rodgers in 2023.
For what it’s worth, the four-time league MVP also recently hinted at the possibility of playing for the Jets beyond this season:
“When I’m at the facility, when I’m here, you know as athletes we’re very routine-based. Whether it’s that day, or maybe that week.
“But when I’m away from the facility, yeah, you think about your life all the time. And you think about what you want to be doing this year, the next year, and the year after and so on so forth.
“But, you know, I’m not a big cliché guy. Most people would say, ‘Yeah, I’m taking this one day at a time or one year at a time.’ But the Jets gave up a lot for me, so to just play one year, I think, would be a disservice.”
At this point in his career, it would be safe to say that Aaron Rodgers is far from done.
