NFL fans were interested to see when quarterback Aaron Rodgers was going to come off of injured reserve for the New York Jets. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, a source said that he is going to come off injured reserve.
Rodgers mentioned on the Pat McAfee show that he will continue to practice with the team, but is not yet ready to play after his Achilles tear. The New York Jets are 5-9 with three games remaining this season. New York is currently in third place in the AFC East and with the way the NFL schedule is set for the 2024 season, it is very possible that Rodgers will make his return to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers.
He only played four snaps this season for the Jets and suffered that Achilles tear against the Buffalo Bills on the first Monday night game of the season. It was a crazy thought, to begin with, that Rodgers was going to play again this season. New York is preparing to face the Washington Commanders (4-10) this Sunday at home.
NFL Fans React on Twitter to New York Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Coming Off Of Injured Reserve Already
There are so many NFL fans who are reacting to the Aaron Rodgers news that he is coming off of injured reserve. It was a fantasy land that he would be playing in another game this season as it was not medically possible to do so.
Aaron Rodgers = coach killer.

Imagine being the guy who’s gonna get cut because Jets management believed Aaron Rodgers when he said he could recover from a blown Achilles in 3 months and now they have to clear a roster spot for him even though he’s hurt. I’d throw a trash can through a window https://t.co/pgHalC5a2k

Bending over backwards for a narcissist who nukes all of his relationships – family, friends – was a very bad decision, Woody Johnson.
This Aaron Rodgers circus is already worse than the Brett Favre debacle, and that involved 🍆 pics

Head Coach Robert Saleh spoke to the media on Wednesday afternoon about Rodgers coming off of injured reserve. He told Bruce Beck of NBC4 New York:
“We want to win a championship. We believe we can win a championship and I know he said two years, but in a perfect situation we’ll win a championship next year and he walks off in the sunlight.”
Rodgers is currently 40 years old and will turn 41 years old during the 2024 season on December 2. The New York Jets will have high expectations next season. This franchise has missed the playoffs for 13 straight seasons and this circus will continue until they make the playoffs.
