Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets seem to be eyeing the Green Bay Packers (again) in the new future. While 2023 was a lost season for the Jets after Rodgers went down with a torn Achilles in Week One, they are still optimistic about their future together.
Rodgers has made it clear he will be in New York for (at least) one more year, many believe it could be even longer than that. With the Jets figuring out how to be competitive once again next season, multiple current and former Packers players will reportedly be getting a call from Rodgers at some point.

Rich Cimini of ESPN listed several players that are worth watching as potential NEW Aaron Rodgers recruits to the Jets in 2024:
Jordan Love seems to be a great pick for the Packers as their next franchise quarterback. Furthermore, it appears that the young wide receivers that he has around him will also turn out to be pretty special players. The organization’s next task is to ensure he is adequately protected.
Bakhtiari proved in Week One that he is still one of the best left tackles in the NFL. All of this coupled with the fact that Bakhtiari has hinted he wants to come back to Green Bay in 2024 may make it difficult for the Jets to acquire him.
A $40 million cap is in place for the five-time Pro Bowler next season. In the event that he does indeed return, it will likely be under a new contract or an extension that extends some of the hit into future seasons.
Nonetheless, Bakhtiari was an interesting name to watch this coming off-season in regard to whether or not he’ll be back. This should make it even more interesting.
