Even though he’s officially out of the league for now, former Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley still has his eyes on anything related to the NBA. His most recent reaction, though, was when Miami Heat’s Alondes Williams shocked everyone with his monstrous dunk in a Summer League game.
The Heat recently faced the Dallas Mavericks, resulting in a hard-fought victory for them in Summer League. Despite the Mavs taking an early lead in the first quarter, Miami responded with determination, outscoring Dallas to gain a four-point advantage by halftime.

Throughout the game, the Mavericks attempted to make a comeback, but the Heat consistently found ways to maintain their lead. In the end, Miami emerged triumphant, closing out the game with a final score of 92-79.
Rookie big man Kel’el Ware led the scoring for the Heat, delivering an impressive performance with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Pelle Larsson contributed with 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists, while Isaiah Stevens added 12 points and eight assists. Notably, A.J. Lawson and Jazian Gortman stood out for the Mavericks, with Lawson recording a team-high 22 points and Gortman providing 19 points and three assists.
Looking ahead, both teams will continue their Summer League journey. The Mavericks are set to face the Boston Celtics, while the Miami Heat will take on the Toronto Raptors in their upcoming games.
Former Milwaukee Bucks Guard Patrick Beverley Reacts To Miami Heat’s Alondes Williams Monster Summer League Dunk

Although Ware was Miami’s main man during the match, Williams stole the show when he went up for a massive dunk in the fourth quarter. This prompted Beverley to share the video on his official X account and react to the viral moment.

Williams played college basketball for the Triton Trojans, the Oklahoma Sooners, and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. After going undrafted in 2022, he then had stints with the Brooklyn Nets, Long Island Nets, Sioux Falls Skyforce, and Miami Heat.

It remains to be seen whether Williams’ viral moment can translate to a contract with the Heat or any other team in the league, including the Milwaukee Bucks. In any case, getting the attention of a player like Beverley will only mean the young guard is doing the right thing.
