Going into the 2024 season, the Green Bay Packers may have one of the most exciting young squads in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers and Packers’ fans alike were shocked when the team made the decision to trade up in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft to select quarterback Jordan Love. Green Bay has always followed the philosophy “draft a quarterback when you don’t need one.”
That has decision has propelled them into the next chapter of their franchise. So much so that It has caught the attention of former President Donald Trump.

“A very special thank you for the extraordinary people of Milwaukee,” he said, before noting that the Wisconsin delegation is “easy to spot” as they waved their Cheeseheads in the air.
Trump added that Wisconsin is going to have “a great team this year,” referring to the Green Bay Packers. “Most of the audiences didn’t like it, but it’s true,” he added.
There is plenty of emerging talent on the Green Bay Packers’ roster. As the team transitions from Aaron Rodgers’s era to Jordan Love’s era, they have done a great job restocking the team.
Recently, Aaron Schatz at ESPN put together an article highlighting the young talent on each team. Based on September 1st, 2024 as the cutoff date, he evaluated every player aged under 25 across the league.
The Green Bay Packers ranked 17th on this list in 2023. They have jumped up to No. 9 in Schatz’s ranking for 2024, a significant jump.
“The Packers have an absurd number of players under 25 who came out with a small amount of value. Similar to our ranking of the 2023 rookie classes in January, the Packers are high because of quantity more than quality … though all that quantity means there’s potential for a lot of quality,” Schatz wrote.
