The Milwaukee Bucks 3-game winning streak was snapped tonight in Chicago, losing an overtime thriller to the Bulls 113-120.
The Bulls were without their two stars tonight in DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. DeRozan was nursing an ankle injury and LaVine is dealing with a foot soreness, which put Chicago at a massive disadvantage to start the game. Yet, they were still able to grind out a win.

Alex Caruso was also on the injury report for tonight’s game with a toe strain. Caruso played through the injury and hit the most important shot of the game, beating the buzzer on a three pointer from the wing to send the game to overtime.
This shot gave Chicago the time they needed to close the game out. Caruso ended the contest with 11 points and 5 assists in 29 minutes of action, while snapping a 5-game losing streak for the Bulls.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez Combine for 46 Points in Milwaukee Bucks’ Loss
DeRozan and LaVine being ruled out right before tip-off may have tricked Milwaukee a bit, but this was an off night for this Bucks team outside of Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Lopez put on a clinic from deep dropping 20 points and shooting 6-10 from behind the arc, including a big corner 3 that put the Bucks in the lead nearing the end of regulation. Antetokounmpo got into foul trouble in the first half, which resulted in him only having 4 points at the break, but he put in his usual stat line of 26 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists shooting 11-17 from the field. He also added 5 blocks and 2 steals on the defensive end.
Damian Lillard Struggled from Behind the Arc in the 2nd Half
In reverse fashion of Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard had 17 of his 18 points in the first half. He shot 0-6 from the field out of the halftime break. Lillard may have gone cold in the second half, but still put up a productive stat line of 18 points, 13 assists and 5 rebounds in 43 minutes of action. Even the best players in the league have off nights shooting the ball. Expect a bounce back from Lillard in the coming games.
The Bucks will look to get back in winning fashion back home where they will prepare to host the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday at 8pm eastern time.
