The Green Bay Packers are getting ready for the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday night and so are other fans across the NFL. Green Bay will have the 25th overall pick in Thursday’s draft in the first round. It will be interesting to see which direction general manager Brian Gutekunst decides to go in.
They need help on the offensive line, at running back, at safety, and at cornerback. There is a chance that could either trade up on Thursday night or they could also trade back. The Green Bay Packers will be eyeing a lot of players to help shape the young future of this football team.
On Thursday, the Green Bay Packers Hashtag Is Trending on Twitter
There is no surprise on this Thursday morning that the #Packers is trending on Twitter. A lot of fans are excited to see what they plan on doing. Here is what some of the fans had to say on this early Thursday morning:
I haven’t seen a “final mock” that doesn’t have Cooper DeJean to the #Packers…
Which, of course, just about guarantees that Gutey will pass on him at 25.

My final guess for the #Packers tonight is DT Darius Robinson, mostly because Gute never does what is expected and Robinson is likely to be picked around when GB picks.

Everything about what #Packers do tonight depends on how board falls in front of them. This is how I mocked out their options. Like any mock, so much is based on assumption.
Mine: NFL teams are desperate for QBs, and given chance to get potential starter, will lack restraint. pic.twitter.com/lFOWseVRrQ

It is interesting what these fans think, but they all agree that the Packers are going to take someone on the defensive side of the football in Thursday’s Draft. Cooper DeJean, the defensive back from the Iowa Hawkeyes, has been floated all over the place in different NFL mock drafts.
DeJean can go anywhere from the teens to where the Green Bay Packers are drafting. It will be interesting to see what happens. A lot of Packers fans would be upset if they passed up on him if he is available. Maybe they would make a trade for him or maybe someone like Quinyon Mitchell, a cornerback from Toledo, who is a highly-rated prospect.
They could also surprise people by taking one of the top wide receivers even though they have plenty of those. Expect the pick for the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night to be someone on the defensive side of the football, otherwise, it will be a surprise unless it is an offensive lineman.
