Milwaukee Bucks veteran Patrick Beverley gets a chance to face off against his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers, on Thursday night. The 6-foot-2 combo guard made his way to Milwaukee just before this season’s trade deadline after the Sixers decided to ship him off in exchange for Cameron Payne and a future second-round pick.
Beverley, however, is now in danger of missing Thursday’s showdown after he was added to the injury report ahead of the game.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Patrick Beverley Dealing With Hip Injury
Despite popping up on the injury report, the good news is that Beverley is considered probable to play. He is apparently dealing with a sore right hip, which appears to be a new injury.
It is worth noting that Beverley hobbled off in the first quarter of Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Sacramento Kings after colliding with big man Domantas Sabonis. Pat Bev was seen holding onto his knee as he limped back to the bench.
Beverley was able to return to the game, though, and it did not seem like the knee issue bothered him.
Malik Beasley Also on Injury Report
Beverley is not the only new addition on the injury report for Thursday’s contest. Starting shooting guard Malik Beasley has also been listed and he is questionable to play due to back spasms. Milwaukee’s backcourt will be significantly shorthanded if both Beverley and Beasley are unable to go.
Khris Middleton, on the other hand, has already been ruled out and will miss his 16th consecutive game with an ankle injury.
