All signs are pointing toward the fact that Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton is closing in on his much-anticipated return to the court. The 32-year-old was considered questionable to play heading into Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Sacramento Kings before the Bucks ultimately decided to rule him out a few hours prior to tip-off.
Milwaukee is in action again on Thursday as they now head back home to host the Philadelphia 76ers after a taxing four-game Western Conference road trip. Middleton, however, is not ready just yet.

Once again, Middleton has been included in Milwaukee’s official injury report for Thursday’s contest. The bad news, however, is that he has already been listed as out more than 24 hours before the game.
This is obviously a considerable downgrade from being questionable in Milwaukee’s previous game. There have been no reports of a setback, though, and we will need to wait for official word from the Bucks.

Middleton will now miss his 16th straight game for the Bucks as he continues to work his way back from a lingering left ankle sprain. His next chance to suit up would be on Sunday against Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in Milwaukee.
In the meantime, veteran swingman Jae Crowder is expected to continue to start in Middleton’s stead.
