The last thing the Milwaukee Bucks need right now is another injury to one of its key players. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been banged up, while a lot of uncertainty continues to surround Khris Middleton’s return from a lingering ankle injury.
On Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings, it was Patrick Beverley’s turn to go through a bit of an injury scare. The good news, though, is that he seems to be fine.

Beverley collided with Kings center Domantas Sabonis as both players were heading to their respective benches during a timeout late in the first quarter. Beverley was seen clutching onto his left knee immediately after the incident:

Pat Bev was also limping as he attempted to walk off the minor knock.

Fortunately, Beverley was able to return to the game after the timeout. He looked fine, so it seems that the Bucks may have dodged a bullet here.
Then again, it’s not impossible for this issue to flare up overnight, so this will be a situation worth monitoring moving forward.
In 13 appearances for the Bucks since his mid-season trade, the 6-foot-2 guard has averaged 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.0 triples in 17.9 minutes per game.
The Bucks are off on Wednesday, but will be back in action on Thursday at home against the Philadelphia 76ers.
