Before Giannis Antetokounmpo became one of the best players in the NBA, he first made his mark by playing ball in Greece. After becoming champion with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, the two-time MVP entertained the idea of going back home and buying a basketball team there.
After entering the NBA via the 2013 Draft, Antetokounmpo slowly rose up through the ranks and became one of the league’s best players. Although he started slow in his career, winning the Most Improved Player in 2017 started the ball rolling for the Greek Freak.
