Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton has been closing in on his much-awaited return to the court. In fact, for the first time since the All-Star break, the three-time All-Star was upgraded to questionable heading into Tuesday’s bout against the Sacramento Kings.
Unfortunately, fans will now wait a bit longer before Middleton is able to make his long-awaited comeback.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton Downgraded to OUT Vs. Kings

According to Bucks reporter Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Middleton went through a workout after Milwaukee’s morning shootaround. The team, however, decided not long after that the 32-year-old would not be making his return to action on Tuesday night. The Bucks have now officially downgraded Middleton to out for the Kings game.
While this is an unfortunate development, it doesn’t really come as a huge shock. What it tells us, though, is that Middleton may not be as close to returning as we all had hoped.
There is no word if Middleton suffered any sort of setback with his ankle injury, but we should get an update from head coach Doc Rivers soon.

Middleton’s next chance to play will be on Thursday when the Bucks head back to Milwaukee to host the Philadelphia 76ers. It will be interesting to see what injury designation Middleton is given for that game. We expect him to be listed as questionable to play, at the very least, because anything less would represent a step back in his road to recovery.
