The Milwaukee Bucks have been rolling of late. They have gone 7-2 since returning from the All-Star break, which has primarily been instigated by the fact that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are now operating on the same wavelength.
The missing piece has been Khris Middleton. The three-time All-Star has been out of action since February 7 and has now missed 14 games in a row. At this point, however, it appears that the 32-year-old is getting very close to returning.
Milwaukee Bucks Upgrade Khris Middleton’s Injury Status Vs. Kings
The Bucks have already submitted their injury report for Tuesday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings, which will be the final leg of their current four-game California road stand. Unsurprisingly, Middleton is listed on the report again with a left ankle sprain. The major development here, though, is that the 6-foot-7 swingman is now considered questionable to play.
There is no guarantee that Middleton will be able to take the court on Tuesday, but the mere fact that he is now questionable means that there is a slim chance. This is a significant upgrade for the veteran forward, who has been constantly listed as out more than 24 hours before each game — except for Tuesday’s contest in Sacramento.
In 43 games played this season, Middleton has produced averages of 14.8 points on 48.7 percent shooting, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists, while also knocking down 1.7 triples per game on a 37.8 percent clip.
