After losing the locker room, the Milwaukee Bucks fired Adrian Griffin and hired Doc Rivers as his replacement. This turn of events, as it stands, has given the one-time Coach of the Year a chance to redeem his reputation from all the playoff criticism he received in the past.
Back when Rivers was the Los Angeles Clippers head coach, there were several instances when his team performed like a juggernaut in the regular season. These performances, however, led to disappointing conclusions when Los Angeles reached the postseason, despite having prime versions of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.
Although Rivers had a different pair of superstars in Joel Embiid and James Harden, the same frustrating story happened again during his time coaching the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite having a talented roster, Rivers still found himself in the middle of harsh criticism when the Sixers choked in the playoffs last season.
However, Rivers has the chance to change the narrative now that he’s coaching the Bucks. Time will tell if he succeeds in this endeavor.
Jamal Crawford Drops Honest Take on Doc Rivers’ Chance for Redemption with the Milwaukee Bucks
A chance for redemption is exactly what Jamal Crawford thinks Rivers will get now that he’s coaching the Bucks.

Crawford’s take on Rivers is as real as it can get since the former Sixth Man of the Year awardee played for him during his time with the Clippers. Add the need for the duo of Giannis Antetkounmpo and Damian Lillard to succeed, and fans will find a potential formula for success.
Even though the Bucks lost to the Nuggets in Rivers’ coaching debut, there’s still enough time to turn things around. With his reputation on the line, expect Rivers to prove every doubter out there wrong.
