Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton has been dealing with a nagging back injury of late. In fact, it has been deemed serious enough to get the All-Star point guard listed on the injury report ahead of their Game 6 showdown against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.
Haliburton’s final status has now been updated right before tip-off, and Pacers fans will be glad to know that their superstar point guard will be available for what they’re hoping will be the final game of this series.
Indiana Pacers News: Tyrese Haliburton Will Play in Game 6

After being initially listed as questionable to play for Game 6, Haliburton has now been cleared to play on Thursday night:

In truth, there was never really much doubt that Haliburton was going to play on Thursday, especially after he went through the same process ahead of Game 5. The 24-year-old also came into Tuesday’s contest as questionable to play, but he eventually suited up in what turned out to be a blowout loss for Indiana.
You just know that Haliburton was not going to miss Thursday’s crucial showdown, in spite of the back problem that has been bothering him of late.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Is Out, Damian Lillard Good to Go

For their part, the Bucks got some contradicting news ahead of tip-off. This is after Giannis Antetokounmpo was once again ruled out for Game 6 due to a calf injury that has forced him to miss all five of the previous games in this series. Clearly, the injury is significant enough that the Bucks aren’t willing to risk the long-term health of their cornerstone superstar despite the magnitude of the Thursday’s clash.
The good news for the Bucks, though, is that Damian Lillard will suit up. The eight-time All-Star was initially doubtful to play due to an Achilles problem, but he has now won his race to fitness ahead of Thursday’s crucial matchup.
It’s all or nothing for the Bucks.
