Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is pretty banged up at the moment. He wasn’t as agile as we’ve all been accustomed to during Sunday’s 124-117 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, which isn’t at all surprising considering the multiple injuries he has been dealing with of late.
One of the issues the former back-to-back MVP has been playing through is tendinitis in his right knee. It’s the same injury that has now prompted the Bucks to include him in the injury report for Tuesday’s bout against the Sacramento Kings.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Injury Status Vs. Kings
As usual, Antetokounmpo is on the injury list again heading into Tuesday’s showdown. This has been the case for him for the past several weeks, and things remain the same for Tuesday’s report.
Giannis, however, is officially listed as probable to play, which means that he will likely suit up against the Kings. He was also probable for Sunday’s game against LA, and he ended up amassing 34 points, seven rebounds, and 10 assists in the win.
Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Giannis should be good to go on Tuesday night.
Khris Middleton Upgraded to Questionable
The more intriguing bit of news from the injury report is that Khris Middleton is now considered questionable to play. This is a massive step in the right direction for the three-time All-Star, who has now missed 14 consecutive games due to a sprained left ankle.
It’s still very much possible that the Bucks opt to hold Middleton out against the Kings, but the biggest development here is that he appears to be closing in on his highly anticipated return to action.
