So much has been said about the Milwaukee Bucks suffering a surprise loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday in the semifinal of the NBA In-Season Tournament. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. were supposed to go all the way and win the NBA Cup but as it turns out, they could not even get passed the semis.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Closes Book on IST
Giannis himself was a picture of disappointment after seeing his team lose to Indiana, 128-119. Antetokounmpo did all he could to carry his side to victory, finishing with a game-high 37 points on 13-of-19 shooting, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 41 minutes of action.
Giannis’ heroic effort just wasn’t enough.
Shortly after the loss, the former back-to-back MVP took to Twitter to send a seven-word statement:
“Sometimes the dice don’t roll your way,” Giannis wrote in his tweet.

That certainly was the case for the Bucks on Thursday night in Las Vegas. They rolled the dice but unfortunately for them, they did not get the desired result.
It wasn’t all about pure luck, though. Milwaukee was simply outplayed by the Pacers in a game that Indiana seemed destined to win.
Better luck next time for the Bucks, I guess.

He hasn’t closed anything. This team right now has no chance at the Finals.
You make your own luck, G, and it wasn’t luck that led to that loss: you guys were bad across the board.
