The Milwaukee Brewers recently lost three out of four games against the San Diego Padres. Although they won the last game of the four-game series, this team needed some extra motivation as we head closer to the all-star break. Last night, Milwaukee would face off in the first game of a three-game series against the defending champion Texas Rangers. The Brewers picked up this encouraging win by scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 6-3 win.
Milwaukee is 46-33 after this win. They are five games ahead of the second-place St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central. For Texas, they now fall to 37-41. The Rangers are a game behind the second-place Houston Astros and six and a half games behind the Seattle Mariners in the AL West division.
