Milwaukee Brewers Shortstop Willy Adames is known for his infectious personality that has been the backbone of keeping clubhouse morale high for the Brewers.
The Brewers and New York Yankees are playing a three-game series in New York this weekend, Brewers took Game One of the series 8-2. On Saturday, the Yankees had their Old-Timers Day Celebration as the team honored the 1998 World Series Champion New York Yankees.
There was one special appearance by the one and only Derek Jeter, who made his first Old-Timers Day appearance since retiring from the MLB after the 2014 season.
Suffice it say, Shortstop Willy Adames had the best reaction.

On Saturday, Milwaukee Brewers Shortstop Willy Adames met his idol Hall-of-Famer Derek Jeter during the Yankees Old-Timers Day celebration.
This is such an awesome moment. Many shortstops looked up to Derek Jeter growing up, and seeing the excitement on Willy Adames’ face as Jeter walked out is why baseball is special.
This would be all of us meeting Derek Jeter. He’s one of the greatest players to ever play the game, and Adames couldn’t contain his excitement any longer.
The end of the exchange, where Willy Adames is walking back to the clubhouse, where he had an elated reaction to meeting one of his idols, shows that the Brewers not only got a top-ten shortstop but an even better person off the field.
