The Milwaukee Brewers need depth in their starting rotation. Since Opening Day, Milwaukee has been down three starters (DL Hall, Wade Miley, and Jakob Junis). Miley is out for this year and most of next year due to Tommy John Surgery. Junis has been out since early April with a right shoulder impingement and suffered a recent setback on April 22, after he was hit in the neck during batting practice against the Pirates. Former Wisconsin Badgers star PG Chucky Hepburn announced his new destination Thursday. Wisconsin has lost seven players to the transfer portal. Two starters Hepburn, and AJ Storr, went to Kansas. Others include Connor Essegian (Nebraska), Luke Haertle, Ross Candelino, Gus Yalden, and Isaac Lindsey (South Dakota State).
