The Milwaukee Brewers once again failed to win a playoff series as they lost two consecutive games against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2023 Wild Card Series.  Despite having post-season appearances in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023 they have not won a playoff series since their magical run in 2018.  Following the teams early exit fans took to social media to express their frustrations.

Milwaukee Brewers fans are furious with the teams early 2023 post-season exit after being swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Wild Card Series.

Sick of hearing about this team’s “success.” So glad we got this 27 hour bite of the apple.

No excuse for leaving so many runners on, but they were so unlucky several times. Seriously a game of inches. 5 months to forget this feeling and then it’s hope springs eternal all over again.

Though Counsell could’ve made some better decisions here and there, he only could’ve done so much. The offense scored 5 whole runs and the pitching gave up 11. Maybe he could’ve squeezed out a few more runs, but the execution still wasn’t there. That’s on the players.

    Major notes.

Brewers had horrible batted ball luck. Lots of balls right at defenders.

Roster construction and usage was poor by CC. If we weren’t going to use some bats, get an extra arm. Too many poor L/L match ups.

Woodruff injury was a non factor.

WE NEED REAL HITTERS!!!! None of these overpaid free-swingers that are only good for a few cheap highlights during the reg season. Any scrub baseball team can provide that.

    Biting the apple isn’t working

    — Barry (@ThumbsUpBarry) October 5, 2023

At least the Brewers won’t break our hearts anymore.

With Craig and Stearns gone, and Burnes likely gone as well, back to missing the playoffs for a while

Built for October!!!! 2-11 last 13 playoff games!! 5 straight playoff losses!!!

Gotta give teams at least the best of 5. To long a season to give teams who win over 90 games a 3 game series.

Bye bye Counsell!! Like always, you kept Burns in to long and you pinch hit Winker who can’t hit! Same in the 2nd game! Left Freddy in to long and Again you used Winker to PHit! Arz coach pulled out All the stops and as soon as his pitcher was in trouble he pulled him. Good moves! Time for Counsell to GO!!
