Micah Parsons Believes Dallas Cowboys Are Best Team in NFC

Micah Parsons believes the Dallas Cowboys will be the best team in the NFC this season. He was on 105.3 the FAN the other day in Dallas.

Parsons said, “I think we are the top in the NFC. No one can beat you except yourself.”

He also mentioned later on in the interview, “We didn’t lose a Javon Hargrave and then draft somebody. We have everybody across the board.”

Micah Parsons Believes Dallas Cowboys Are Best Team in NFC

It seemed like Micah Parsons was taking a subtle shot at the Philadelphia Eagles. Philadelphia went 14-3 a season ago and won the NFC. They have had more success recently than the Dallas Cowboys have had.

Earlier this offseason, Micah Parsons was fed up that the Philadelphia Eagles drafted Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith out of Georgia. He couldn’t believe other NFL franchises passed up on both of these players.

The thing is that Dallas did finish with a 12-5 record last season in the NFC before falling to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round. It is not crazy talk for Micah Parsons to say that the Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the NFC.

No one in the NFC East has won the division title back-to-back since 2004, when the Philadelphia Eagles did it four times in a row from 2001-2004. The Dallas Cowboys are loaded on paper and can very well win the NFC Division with the same record as last season.

There are a lot of people laughing at that notion because people don’t believe in quarterback Dak Prescott and head coach Mike McCarthy. Kellen Moore is no longer the offensive coordinator, and McCarthy will be calling the plays. The Dallas Cowboys will be in the headlines a lot this season in the NFL, and Micah Parsons will have a lot to do with their success on the defensive side of the football.

Micah Parsons Speaks Out About Super Bowl

EDGE rusher Micah Parsons also spoke on 105.3 FAN on what it would mean to win a Super Bowl for the Dallas Cowboys organization. He said, “It would mean everything to me. I’d break down in tears. When you talk about legacy and talk about leaving a print and a foundation in the organization, I think that’s the most pivotal one.”
