The Green Bay Packers have some very important players dealing with injuries. At Friday’s practice, wide receiver Christian Watson went with the team outside after stretch, but Aaron Jones did not. Quay Walker, who is still in concussion protocol, did practice for the second straight day. As for David Bakhtiari, he did not practice.
Walker looks to possibly be in the best shape to play on Sunday for Green Bay on the road against the Atlanta Falcons after suffering a concussion last weekend against the Chicago Bears. That will be huge for this football team because they are facing an offense that will want to run the football.
As for the offensive players for the Green Bay Packers, Bakhtiari should be fine. As for Christian Watson and Aaron Jones, it feels as if their statuses will truly be up in the air for Sunday’s contest. Watson and Jones are both dealing with hamstring injuries for the Packers.
Green Bay Packers Facing Tough Test This Weekend
Green Bay’s toughest test this weekend could potentially be who will be the running backs. Aaron Jones has not practiced all week for the Green Bay Packers. He is a big part of what they want to do offensively. Without him, it will be a tall order in the running game because they will have to plug in A.J. Dillon and rookie Emanuel Wilson.
Head coach Matt LaFleur wants to go with a running back by committee system to help out quarterback Jordan Love. He may not have Christian Watson for the second consecutive week, which means he will be throwing passes to Romeo Doubs and rookie Jayden Reed.

Lastly, David Bakhtiari was great last weekend and will need to be good again this weekend. As for Quay Walker, he should be able to pass concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s matchup.
