Green Bay Packers: Romeo Doubs Compares Jordan Love to Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers made the decision this offseason to transition from future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers to 2020 first round draft pick Jordan Love. While Rodgers and the Jets have high expectations, Love and the Packers are not being predicted by many to do very well. Of course, this has a great deal to do with the amount of unknown surrounding the young team. One member of that team, however, does not believe there will be any drop-off in quarterback play from Rodgers to Love.

Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Says Jordan Love Can Do Everything Aaron Rodgers Did

Doubs was recently interviewed by Dennis Krause of Spectrum 1. He was asked if he saw any difference in Love now that Rodgers is gone:

“No. I think Jordan can do it. I think Jordan is a really good quarterback. When you go from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan, Aaron was a really great quarterback, but I believe Jordan can do the same exact thing. So I don’t really see what’s the big difference.

“I see a progression. I see it going up. I don’t see the Packers going down. I only focus on our room and our team in this organization. This organization is historic, and it’s only winning. That’s all. When you hear Green Bay, it’s no losing, it’s only winning.”

This is certainly a new take from a current Packers player. While others such as Aaron Jones and David Bakhtiari have voiced their support of Love, no one has gone as far as to say that they don’t see a difference between what the two quarterbacks can do.

If Love is able to match the play of Rodgers, the Packers will certainly be the team to watch in the NFL this season.
