The Green Bay Packers got some outstanding news today regarding their offense. Going into Week One of the NFL season, the weapons on offense took an unexpected hit. Christian Watson and/or Romeo Doubs could miss their season opener which, obviously, would be a game-changer. However, one returned to practice today that had Packers fans feeling good.
Green Bay Packers Fans React To Romeo Doubs Returning To The Field

Glenn Kaplan of Wisconsin Sports Heroics first reported it for our website:
On this Thursday, breaking news is out that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs is back at practice after missing time with a hamstring injury, but Christian Watson still did not return to practice. This is good news for Green Bay that Doubs is back because that means he could potentially play this weekend on the road against the Chicago Bears.
Romeo Doubs has been developing chemistry during the preseason with quarterback Jordan Love. Doubs is looking to play a big role in the Packers offense this season. He will step in as the top wide receiver this weekend for Green Bay if Watson can not play.
Doubs himself, however, may have let the cat out of the bag when it comes to Sunday:
“Throughout this entire week, I thought some of the things I’ve been doing just within this building, I thought I’ve been doing a tremendous job,” Doubs said. “We’re days away from Sunday, but I can’t wait to play.”
Can’t wait to play.
The news of Romeo Doubs returning to the field obviously had Packers fans fired up. Here are some of the best reactions:

Some much needed reinforcements for #GoPackGo may be coming.

Great news: Romeo Doubs, the clear number two looking to become a top 30-20 receiver in the NFL this year is back
Bad news: Christian Watson, the key to the Packers offense last year, is still out. I NEED Christian back https://t.co/qlshvyA9rV— Dedicated Packers (@DedicatedPack) September 7, 2023
I won’t lie to you – my Doubs/Reed bags are packed quite nicely in anticipation of Watson being made out of bubble gum and duct tape.
Christian Watson is an incredible athlete. Jayden Reed is an incredible football player. Fade overhyped athletes; draft good football players. https://t.co/QTLyHfDdXr

The fact that Romeo Doubs can practice drills should be seen as a sign that he is on the right track for Sunday. The next few days will be spent keeping an eye on Doubs and Watson. Both are crucial components of the Packers’ offense.
The Packers will face the Bears at Solider Field in Chicago on Sunday, September 10th at 3:25 CT.
