Almost a month ago, the Green Bay Packers mauled the Dallas Cowboys in a brutal game that saw the latter eliminated from the playoffs. At the center of that big win is Green Bay’s franchise player, Jordan Love.
Even though the Packers fielded the NFL’s youngest roster, how they dropped Dallas with a 48-32 win in their wild card battle shocked everyone in the league. The Cowboys entered the game as the clear favorites by finishing the season as the NFC’s second-best team. They were even rated higher than Green Bay to win the game and continue their 16-game winning streak at home.
Fortunately, Love rose to the challenge early on by establishing a 27-0 lead against Dallas. At one point, the Packers were in control of the game when a touchdown by Aaron Jones extended the lead to 32. After that, the Cowboys had two touchdowns of their own, but it was to no avail.
This game marked Love’s playoff debut, and it was one for the ages. Unfortunately, the Packers lost to the San Francisco 49ers, ending their impressive run this season.

According to the Packers’ most improved player this year, running the ball was the secret that defeated the second-seeded team in the NFC. In doing so, Green Bay was able to slow the Cowboys’ offense and take advantage of their lapses. This allowed Love and company to get a lot of touchdowns on their end.
When it comes to running the ball, Love definitely has that locked down for the Packers. And with a promising offseason ahead of Green Bay, there’s a good chance the team can replicate their dominance over the Cowboys next season.
