The Green Bay Packers had mostly everyone present for their optional organized team activities throughout this offseason. Many of them, such as left tackle David Bakhtiari, came to these activities in order to collect their workout bonuses. However, the time on the field has been valuable, especially for such a young team. Today, Tuesday June 13, Green Bay begins mandatory mini camp, and some players that previously skipped OTA’s have shown up for this event.

With the start of mandatory mini camp, cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Rasul Douglas, two players that had not participated in any offseason team workouts, have shown up. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported the news on Twitter:
As for Jaire Alexander and Rasul Douglas, who haven’t been here this offseason, LaFleur said they could possibly do team (11 on 11):
“We’ll get a feel for Jaire and Rasul throughout the individual periods and see where they’re at.”

Last season, Alexander led the Packers with five interceptions on his way to his second career Pro Bowl. He was also named a Second Team All Pro for the second time in his career.
Douglas was second on the team with four interceptions last season. He allowed a completion percentage of just 64.3% and held opposing quarterbacks to a 88.5 passer rating when targeting him.
