The Green Bay Packers decided to move on from Aaron Rodgers during the 2023 off-season. It was a move that initially came with a lot of scrutiny and uncertainty. Fast forward one year and the Packers are confident that they have their next franchise Quarterback.
Aaron Rodgers, meanwhile, is looking to come back stronger than ever from his torn Achilles and try to win it all with the New York Jets. Lately, Rodgers has been making headlines off the gridiron (again), but this time he responded to one of reports circulating out there.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Responds To Reports About His School Shooting Take
According to a shocking CNN report published earlier this week, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers told a reporter that the Sandy Hook massacre was an inside job by the government. Rodgers has now spoken out against the report.
As I’m on the record saying in the past, what happened in Sandy Hook was an absolute tragedy. I am not and have never been of the opinion that the events did not take place. Again, I hope that we learn from this and other tragedies to identify the signs that will allow us to…

On CNN’s The Lead, Jake Tapper reported that Aaron Rodgers once berated CNN reporter Paula Brown and claimed that Sandy Hook wasn’t real.
“In 2013, when CNN’s Pamela Brown was covering the Kentucky Derby, she was introduced to Rodgers. Hearing that she was a journalist for CNN, Rodgers began attacking the news media for ‘covering up important stories,’” Tapper said. “Rodgers then brought up the Sandy Hook shooting and said the news media was intentionally ignoring that the shooting wasn’t real – that it was a government inside job.”
It was surprising to see these type of allegations come to light, it may be even more surprising that it got to the point where Aaron Rodgers felt the need to respond.
For the New York Jets’ sake, hopefully all these off the field distractions don’t take away from the 2024 season.
