The Golden State Warriors don’t have too many problems on the offensive end. After all, they have the greatest shooter of all time on their roster. The addition of Chris Paul now gives them an elite playmaker who can facilitate their half-court offense.
The Dubs could use an upgrade on the defensive end, though, particularly in the guard position. This is where former Los Angeles Lakers champ Alex Caruso could come in handy.
Warriors Fortify Backcourt With Alex Caruso Addition

James Piercey of the NBA Analysis Network imagines a scenario wherein the Warriors strike a deal with the Chicago Bulls. Below are the details of the proposal:
Chicago Bulls Receive: F Jonathan Kuminga, G Corey Joseph
Golden State Warriors Receive: G/F Alex Caruso
Caruso, who averaged just 5.6 points for Chicago last season is anything but a proven scorer. However, he’s one of the best defensive guards in the league right now, and this is where the Warriors will find much of the 29-year-old’s value.
Caruso is a high-impact player who can also get up there and throw down the occasional dunk, making him a valuable piece off the bench for Golden State. You could also see him closing out games for Coach Steve Kerr as a defensive weapon against opposing superstar guards.
Bulls Get Jonathan Kuminga Ahead of Potential Rebuild

Jonathan Kuminga hasn’t been able to live up to the lofty expectations people had on him since he was drafted by the Warriors as the No. 7 overall pick in 2021. A change in scenery could be what the 20-year-old needs, and Chicago could be a great landing spot for him — especially if the Bulls decide to rebuild their roster.
Even if Chicago opts to stand pat and give their Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic Big 3 another run, Kuminga has enough upside to make him a valuable future asset for the Bulls for the years to come.
