The Wisconsin Badgers got a huge transfer portal commit in QB Nick Evers. The biggest question of the offseason was the QB position. No matter how good the rest of your team is, if the QB position is bad there is a cap on how good your offense can be. Nick Evers raises the ceiling on the Badgers’ offense. Often when players commit to a program, they bring others in as well. Nick Evers talked recruiting players to Madison in a recent interview.
Asked QB Nick Evers about recruiting guys to Madison:
“I’m on it for sure! Just wait because we got a few things cookin.”#Badgers— Raul Vazquez (@VazquezRivals) December 17, 2022
Nick Evers Wants To Bring Others To Madison
Recruiting is often a domino effect. If one recruit comes, others want to follow. Evers is going to make sure other top recruits come to Madison. “I’m on it for sure! Just wait because we got a few things cookin’,” Evers said when asked about recruiting. He seems all in on making sure that he is not the only top recruit coming to the Wisconsin program. He even alluded to the fact that he may already be in contact with some of his peers.
What A Week For Luke Fickell
This week has been full of good news for the Wisconsin football program. Fickell and his staff are flipping recruits from Cincinnati. They are convincing top talent to stay in Madison. Top players in the transfer portal are taking Wisconsin seriously. One thing is for sure. There will be no shortage of talent for the Badgers. With the weakness of the Big Ten West division, it is possible that Wisconsin could compete very quickly for Big Ten championships.
It is great to hear Nick Evers talk enthusiastically about recruiting other players to Madison. Some players want nothing to do with recruiting. They want to come in, play their game and that’s it. Evers wants to make sure that Wisconsin is overflowing with talent.
