Badgers switch a recruit from Cincinnati
Luke Fickell was expected to bring over some former recruits from Cincinnati. The new Wisconsin Badgers head coach flipped a three-star cornerback Monday afternoon. Soon after, another former Cincinnati recruit announced they were coming to Madison.
According to Braedyn Moore’s Twitter account, the safety is committed to Wisconsin.

According to 247 Sports, Moore is listed as a four-star safety. He’s ranked 335th overall nationally for the class of 2023. Moore originally committed to Cincinnati but de-committed when Fickell took the job at Wisconsin.
Here’s his evaluation by national recruiting analyst Allen Trieu:
“Long, lean athletic defender who has played both sides of the ball in high school. Has gone to events and tested well. Runs well and has good change of direction. Shows good ball skills and can go up and challenge for the ball. Has to fill in some and get stronger. Can be a big safety or hybrid at the next level.”
Moore will likely be asked to help the defense that will look new without former coach Jim Leonhard. The Ohio native is listed as a safety for his recruiting profile. However, Moore played some wide receiver in high school. The Badgers will have plenty of options as to how they will utilize the four-star athlete.
Here are some highlights of Moore in high school.
