Former Brewer Jace Peterson has officially signed with the Oakland Athletics. In Milwaukee, he was known as on base Jace. The utility player joined the Brew Crew in 2020 and put together his three best seasons as a professional in Milwaukee. This has now earned him the largest contract of his career.
Peterson signed a two year deal with the Athletics during Winter Meetings. Today Jon Heyman announced the specific details. The contract has an average annual value of $4.75MM. The most Peterson had made in as single season previously was in 2022 when he made $1.825MM.
Jace Peterson A’s deal: $9.5M for two years

Earning this contract is quite the accomplishment. Peterson was drafted 58th overall in the 2011 draft, but never established himself with his former teams. He played for the Padres, Braves, Yankee’s and Oriole’s before joining the Brewers.
Throughout his time in Milwaukee, Peterson was very professional in all of his actions. He came to the ball park ready to play every day, went about his business, and did not get as much recognition as other players. This contract is well deserved.
