Aaron Rodgers will be facing more turnover this off-season than maybe ever before in his NFL career. Losing three of your top five wide receivers in the matter of a few months is… a change to say the least. Davante Adams is in Vegas, Marquez Valdes-Scantling is in Kansas City, and Equanimeous St. Brown is in Chicago (for what it’s worth.. which isn’t much). Either way that is major turnover in one off-season for your offense. Favre was asked what he thinks about Rodgers’ future without Davante Adams and company:
Brett Favre’s Question:

You had turnover in your career, whether is was Sterling (Sharpe) Robert (Brooks) and so on. You’ve got Aaron (Rodgers) now up in Green Bay without Davante Adams for the first time in a long time; how do you think he deals with that sort of transistion?
Favre’s Answer:
Probably the same way I dealt with it. You just go on. It is what it is. You know, I think that the transition for me from Sterling to the next receiver; people may disagree but I think that was harder than Aaron’s (situation). Cause he’s (Aaron) is more established. He’ll make the new comers, the rookies or first timers better.
What Does the Packers Starting Wide Receivers Look Like Today?
While we don’t know who will be on the final roster week one, we can make a pretty educated guess:
- WR Allen Lazard: $3.98M
- WR Christian Watson: $1.0M (Projected)
- WR Romeo Doubs: $875k
- WR Sammy Watkins: $1.8M
- WR Randall Cobb: $4.2M
- WR Amari Rodgers: $1.1M
While that is certainly not Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, there is certainly talent there. From Sammy Watkins looking to revitalize his career. Amari Rodgers looking to make that year two jump. The physical monster in Christian Watson. There are many story lines in this years’ wide receiving group that should give Packers fans excitement.
