The Milwaukee Brewers made the decision prior to the regular season starting to designate Keston Hiura for assignment and because that was his first time being DFA’d he was unable to refuse a minor league assignment.  He was once a promising prospect with a great hit tool, had some big league success, but strikeouts and defensive concerns led to him being shuttled back and forth between the major and minor leagues. The St. Louis Cardinals are promoting Masyn Winn, MLB Pipeline’s 32nd ranked prospect, to the big leagues.  He was the club’s second round pick in the 2020 draft and will be the third player from that year’s draft to get MLB playing time.  Star rookie Jordan Walker and outfielder Alec Burleson are the other two players. The Milwaukee Brewers nine game road trip has been filled with sweeps so far.  They started things off on the right foot by sweeping the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field, but then lost all three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodgers Stadium. Milwaukee Brewers star Christian Yelich is enjoying a resurgence 2023 season. The former 2018 MVP and two-time batting champion currently has a .287/.373/.458 slash line with a 127 OPS+.  A swing change in early May helped spark success at the plate and as a result his confidence has grown. The Milwaukee Brewers, according to multiple reports, are “contemplating” whether to relocate amid negotiations for taxpayer-funded renovations to American Family Field.  This more than likely is a negotiating tactic to scare government officials into helping get the $448 million in renovations needed, but should the relocation efforts become more serious one popular Wisconsin city has been listed as a possible relocation site. The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night by a score of 7-1.  This marked LA’s 10th consecutive victory and it was overall a frustrating night for the Brew Crew.  Anything that could have gone against Milwaukee seemingly did that includes two catcher interference calls. William Contreras was the catcher behind the dish for the Brewers in this game.  In the first inning J.D. The Chicago Cubs defined odds on Wednesday night as Christopher Morel capped off a come from behind victory with an epic three run walk off home run.  He sent Wrigley Field into a frenzy after his clutch home run off White Sox reliever Gregory Santos gave them a 4-3 win. Aside from the walk-off home run, Christopher Morel celebrated this special moment with tremendous emotion.  His teammates also mobbed him, removed his jersey and undershirt, and made sure that one of the heros of the game got plenty of recognition.
