Jrue Holiday started for the Bucks today so he could reach 67 games played and secure a huge bonus.  Holiday played eight seconds before committing a foul and heading to the bench.  The complete terms of the bonus requirements were: playing 67 games (67) and average 3.15 RPG (4.5) this season. Wisconsin Badgers fans know Scotty Nelson well.  Nelson was a four-year starter for the Badgers at free safety. Athleticism and talent were never Nelson’s issue.  He often flashed ball skills and closing burst when he was on the field.  His trouble came with staying off the injury report.  Nelson was arguably the most impressive tester at the Badgers’ pro day, as he impressed scouts in every event. Questions surrounding the Packers’ quarterback situation and the future of Aaron Rodgers hasn’t been as controversial as last year.  After Rodgers won his second straight NFL MVP Award, the Packers signed Rodgers to a three-year extension that drastically lowered his cap hit for 2022 and 2023. Options are slowly dwindling for the Packers when it comes to wide receivers.  Bradin Cooks was the latest wide receiver to likely be taken off the board.  Cooks signed a two year extension with Houston.  There is some optimism that the contract was signed to make trades more appealing to other teams, however nothing official has been reported confirming that.
