Jrue Holiday started for the Bucks today so he could reach 67 games played and secure a huge bonus. Holiday played eight seconds before committing a foul and heading to the bench. The complete terms of the bonus requirements were: playing 67 games (67) and average 3.15 RPG (4.5) this season.

This is the kind of gestures that only increases the relationships between organizations and players. It was recognized by other players as well:

Already locked into a playoff spot with home-court advantage to start their first matchup, the Bucks rested Holiday, Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, and Giannis Antetokounmpo on Sunday. After their loss to Cleveland, if Boston wins tonight they’ll fall to the three seed. Currently sitting at #2, they’d likely play the Brooklyn Nets. If they fall to the #3 seed, they’d play the Chicago Bulls.
