It’s no secret that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a legend in the state of Wisconsin, and the sports world as a whole. With that said, it seems as if he isn’t satisfied about his legacy as it stands now. The past couple seasons after the 2021 championship run have been tainted by injuries to him and Middleton as well. While he doesn’t have his player option until 2025, this still makes the window to convince him that staying is the best option, a mere two seasons long. So, you’re probably asking, what exactly will keep him as a Buck forever? The…
AJ Dillon is a running back for the Packers, who was drafted by Green Bay, with the 62nd pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. As impressive as Dillon is on the field, his involvement as a Packer extends well beyond the gridiron. On Thursday morning, the Packers sent a Jr reporter to the practice field to conduct a cute 1 on 1 interview with Dillon. You can watch the full thing here, but I just wanted to highlight the most interesting part, in my opinion anyways, of the video here in this article. Hoops enjoyer, AJ…
Jayden Reed is a 23 year old rookie wide out from Michigan State university, that the Packers drafted 50th overall in the second round. Like the other rookie show-outs this preseason, he scored a big play in the 21-17 loss to the Patriots Saturday. In a post-practice interview yesterday, he elaborated on thoughts towards how this preseason is panning out so far for the Packers. He gave some interesting answers, and I want to go over the highlights in this article today. Developed a consistent skill set in college: The first person he credited his development to is his wide…
De’vondre Campbell has had an ankle injury for a while now, as reported by my fellow writer Jordan Sigler of Wisconsin Sports Heroics. We also know from this report, that he was found with a scooter and a walking boot at his locker after practice earlier this week. As bad of news this is, hearing from one of his teammates Quay Walker in an interview this afternoon, on stepping up in his absence, can be reassuring for some. There’s no secret that Quay is a very hungry and chippy player, as he is the only NFL player to be ejected…
The Green Bay Packers have one last preseason game on Saturday August 26th, versus the Seattle Seahawks at home. In the first two weeks, many young stars from Carrington Valentine to Sean Clifford have impressed us so far. This however, does not mean that all of the roster spots are even close to final decisions. Quite the opposite actually, as you will see in this morning’s press conference with Packers coach Matt Lafleur this morning. Uncertainty continues: As usual, coaches tend to keep their cards close to their chest when it comes to roster decisions. For Matt today, this philosophy…
Tony Moll was a former Packers offensive lineman, who was in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL draft to be the starting right guard for the season opener. He started in all 16 games after only one year of offensive line experience in college, because he was a tight end beforehand. He played with the Packers from 2006 to 2008, both as a guard and tackle. In a YouTube video today, he went back to that time and had some interesting things to say about his time with Aaron Rodgers, so I wanted to highlight the best bit here.…
The Wisconsin Badgers 2023-2024 football season is set to kick off on Saturday September 2nd versus the Buffalo Bulls. The team is mostly healthy with loads of new transfers coming in from Tanner Mordecai to Jason Maitre, this Badgers squad is more loaded than before. However there is one transfer that is currently battling injury. That would be the new o-line transfer from Cinncinati, Jake Renfro. Today Badgers head football coach, Luke Fickell, took questions after the team’s practice session. One of these questions is relating to the question of when we’ll see Renfro back on the gridiron. A week…
The Green Bay Packers for the past few days, have been participating in a joint practice session with the New England Patriots. This is in preparation for the preseason matchup versus New England this Saturday. This will be the second of three preseason games for the Green Bay Packers this fall. After one of the joint practice sessions, a few of the Green Bay Packers players were asked a very interesting question. You can go watch the full 56 second interview here, but I want to go over my favorite bits in this article today. “NFL/Packers”: Green Bay Packers offensive…
The 2023-2024 NBA season is set to tip off in a little over 2 months time. This is the time of year where there’s mostly dead air, except for one random mid-august Thursday where the NBA has just released this season’s schedule. On Tuesday the NBA had released the mid-season tournament schedule, but today the entire regular season schedule has just been released. For the most part this news doesn’t really matter because the Christmas Day games, as well as the mid-season tournament, are the most important aspects of the regular season schedule. However even with that said, there are…
The Green Bay Packers have a lot going for them so far in training camp. From Jordan love to Carrington Valentine, it seems like this Packers team is loaded with young studs going forward. One group that is arguably not getting enough coverage, is this team’s defensive front seven. From Kenny Clark to Preston Smith, there’s a significant amount of talent in this group. That’s not just me saying that either, take it from Packers head coach Matt LaFleur if you don’t believe me. The take: In a press conference Thursday morning, Matt LaFleur was taking questions on everything from…
