With the NFL season less then two weeks away, a handful of Wisconsin Badger rookies will make their NFL debuts. While only a handful of rookies make huge impacts, there are a few Badgers I believe that will have successful rookie seasons. In this article, I list three former Badgers who could have the most successful rookie seasons from last years team. Jonathan Taylor- Indianapolis Colts Photo by Michael Hickey/Getty Images This is the most obvious choice. Taylor was selected in the second round (41st overall). After leaving Wisconsin as one of the best running backs in program history, Taylor…

With the Big Ten season postponed until at least winter, there has been some positive news for the Wisconsin Badger recently. Left Tackle Cole Van Lanen was recognized as a preseason first team All-American for USA TODAY. He was also selected to the Reese’s Senior Bowl top 250 list. Van Lanen was added to the Outland Trophy watch list earlier this year as well. Van Lanen will be entering his redshirt senior season at Wisconsin. He is without question the leader of the offensive line. He could have left for the 2020 NFL Draft, but chose to return to Madison.…

Earlier this past week, we looked at my predictions for the Wisconsin offense in 2020. In this article, we’ll look at my predictions for the Wisconsin starting defense and other role players we can expect to see. The defense has fewer starters to replace than the offense. However, there will be competitions at every position. The Wisconsin defense is deep, talented, and should be one of the best defensive units in the Big Ten and the country.
