In the 2023 free agency period, the Milwaukee Bucks sought to beef up their outside shooting. The team shot a mediocre 37 percent from three against the Miami Heat last offseason, and Jon Horst has an affinity for players who can space the floor. This is where the signing for Malik Beasley comes into play because, already losing Joe Ingles and Jevon Carter in free agency, Jon Horst had to operate quickly to sign Beasley, a talented 3-and-D guy. This season, Beasley is shooting a career-high 46 percent from three and has filled in nicely as the team’s fifth starter.…

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love

The Green Bay Packers have found their franchise quarterback. With the 2023-24 season expected to serve as a transitional year for the Green and Gold, it has been anything but. Jordan Love has been playing lights out and has looked more and more like the guy the team drafted in 2020. He’s third in the league in touchdowns (30), 10th in the league in QBR (61.5), and 10th in yards (3,843.) Not only has Love played well this season, but he’s been playing his best games against playoff teams. According to PFF, Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love is the…

The Green Bay Packers have found themselves an exciting young rookie wide receiver. Jayden Reed has outperformed expectations and more on offense. Before the draft, there was talk that Green Bay should nab wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the first round. Now, a mere eight months later, not only would that evaluation be off the mark, but it likely wouldn’t have netted them Jayden Reed.  A second-round selection out of Michigan State Reed, has been a favorite target of Jordan Love this season and has blossomed in Green Bay’s offense. The numbers indicate how massive Reed has been for the…

Green Bay Packers tight ends Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft Chicago Bears

Green Bay’s General Manager Brian Gutekunst sought two game-breaking difference-makers at tight end before the draft. Since Jermichael Finley’s unfortunate career-ending neck injury in 2013, the Green Bay Packers haven’t had a tight end who could stretch the field. Sure, Robert Tonyan had one good year in 2020, but outside of that, Green Bay hasn’t done well in drafting and developing tight ends that made an impact on offense. That was until the 2023 NFL Draft, where Gutekunst hit on two tight ends, Luke Musgrave out of Oregon State and Tucker Kraft out of South Dakota State. Not only have…

He may wear a different uniform, but throughout his career, former Green Bay Packers QB and future hall-of-famer Aaron Rodgers debunked the so-called Bears-Packers rivalry by beating the Bears like a drum year after year. Even after Rodgers was traded away in the offseason, his successor, Jordan Love picked up right where Rodgers left off by making this rivalry one-sided. Ahead of Green Bay’s Week 18 matchup vs Chicago in Green Bay, Rodgers on the Pat McAfee Show shared why the Bears-Packers shouldn’t be considered a rivalry. Former Green Bay Packers QB and future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers dived into why…

Green Bay Packers, Jaire Alexander, Aaron Rodgers

On Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers suffered a brutal loss to one of their cornerstone players. It was announced that All-Pro CB Jaire Alexander was suspended one game for conduct detrimental to the team. During Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, Alexander went out for the coin toss despite not being named as one of the three captains before the game. In a statement Wednesday, General Manager Brian Gutekunst said the following (Via Packers) “The decision to suspend a player is never easy and not one we take lightly. Unfortunatley, Jaire’s actions prior to the game against Carolina led us…

The Wisconsin Badgers have been known to be a top-notch football school, but the culture of Madison, Wisconsin sets itself apart. An elite tailgating scene, a raucous fanbase, and Jump Around in the fourth quarter isn’t a better atmosphere to play College Football. On Wednesday, Mordecai was asked what advice he would give to incoming Miami transfer QB Tyler Van Dyke. Wisconsin Badgers QB Tanner Mordecai on what Tyler Van Dyke should expect at Wisconsin next year. The Wisconsin Badgers are known for their culture, and whether it’s Paul Chryst, Bret Bielema, or Barry Alvarez, the standard remains the same.…

Milwaukee Bucks

They say an image is worth 1,000 words, or in Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s case, a quick sprint to the locker room will suffice. In Wednesday’s game, Giannis put up a franchise record 64 points, surpassing the previous mark set by Michael Redd in 2006. This franchise moment was unfortunately overshadowed by an assistant coach taking the game ball after the final buzzer and retrieving it for Indiana Pacers rookie center Oscar Tshiebwe, who “scored his first career basket.” At least, that’s what Rick Carlisle told the media after the game. The only problem is that it wasn’t Tshiebwe’s…

New York Jets superstar QB Aaron Rodgers has defied the odds once again. After suffering a torn Achilles on Sept 11, Rodgers is expected to be medically cleared ahead of the team’s Week 16 Christmas Eve matinee against the Washington Commanders. This is not a surprising turn of events, as the team opened up Rodgers’ three-week practice window on Nov 29 with the potential to see where the team is at while awaiting his return. Should New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers try to come back this season? It would be a mistake for Aaron Rodgers to return this season.…

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft

For a brief moment today, Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft made me want to play for the team. Football brings a certain level of imagery, an art form if you will, and Kraft painted an abstract of what life is like as an NFL blocker. With this answer, Tucker Kraft officially solidified himself as a Green Bay Packer. Over the past couple of years, much criticism has been lobbed in the direction of GM Brian Gutekunst and Head Coach Matt LaFleur because the fanbase has felt a soft culture has emanated in Green Bay. With the selection of Kraft,…
